Christine (Chrissy) Schairer is a professional services specialist (IV) in the NAMS School Laboratories at Stockton University in South New Jersey. She has a BS in Biology, BA in Teacher Education and a Master’s in Education with a track in Science, all from Stockton. Chrissy also has been growing orchids since the age of 12. She has a published article on the “Native Orchids of the New Jersey Pine Barrens” in the North American Native Orchid Journal, and was interviewed for an article for the NJ Monthly. She is an original member of the Sandpiper Orchid Society. During her spare time, when she is not growing orchids Chrissy likes to hike the western part of the United States.
